Description:

AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth Sebring are searching for an experienced APRN to work with our amazing & growing Cardiology Team in our Heart Failure Clinic.

REQUIREMENTS/HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Must be willing to float to other AH Sebring Cardiology offices within reason, when patient load, vacation schedules etc. make it necessary
  • Display knowledge and skill to care for the adult patient in a clinical setting.
  • Document essential history information and physical exam components that support the derived diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan as reviewed.
  • Demonstrate sense of judgment by appropriate counseling, referrals and orders as documented on the record. Perform physical examinations of patients evaluation and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric through geriatric patients.
  • Interpret diagnostic testing appropriately; refers abnormal results to physician for review when necessary.
  • Appropriately refers to supervising physician or other healthcare provider when needed.
  • Handle on-call responsibilities for own patients.
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
  • Collaborate with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff
  • Continuously strives to improve patient satisfaction by going above and beyond their expectations
  • Support the development of staff teamwork by being willing to assist patients, visitors and co-workers when necessary to facilitate a smooth workflow.
