Description:

Heathrow is a city within a city. And there’s no place like it when it comes to the scale of our ambitions. You’ll be part of a Commercial team that drives our profitability across everything from retail, property and airport transport, through to passenger services and contracts with airlines. At the centre of everything, we have a pioneering agenda for digital and e-commerce, as we look to transform the way our passengers spend at our airport. That’s because we want to drive innovation, as well as growth.
We believe the best way to drive growth across our iconic airport is by improving the services offered within it. So although we know generating income is critical to driving our business forward, we’re also passionate about delivering the best possible passenger experience. You’ll help us to get the balance right – not least so we can continue investing in an airport that leads the world.
The primary function of the Advertising and Media Account Executive is to support the Senior Account Manager and Account Manager in working with our media partners (namely JCDecaux and HSBC) along with internal stakeholders to maximise sales, income and passenger experience.

In this exciting role, you will understand the day to day running of the Advertising estate, which comprises of digital screens, billboards, experiential retail spaces and more. A hands-on role, you will spend a lot of time in our terminals reporting on issues on the ground and acting as key liaison with Heathrow Operations to solve issues when they arise. You will also be responsible for assisting with the delivery of new commercial projects and advertising activations.

  • Monitoring of the media operations budget (OPEX): monthly reporting, annual forecasting and OPEX budget planning, exploring ways to drive cost efficiency in all our maintenance contracts.
  • Reviewing advert creatives and booking requests: many adverts need to be reviewed to ensure they meet our advertising guidelines. New concepts for advertising need to receive internal approval before they can go ahead. The successful applicant will oversee this process, acting as a first point of contact and collating feedback.
  • Supporting event: assisting with operationally setting up new media agencies and supporting our partners to ensure any adverting events run smoothly. Being the first point of contact for events planning and acting as a conduit for all operational queries such as ID process or parking.

  • Proven track record of using continuous improvement to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver demanding targets and identify new opportunities to grow revenues.
  • Ability to manage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in both commercial and operational settings.A self-motivated, team-oriented approach to work.
