Overview of the Role:
The Advisor, HR Solutions and Systems provides support to HR teams globally to promote HR systems’ optimal use. This position will partner with HR Business partners, Payroll teams, IT partners and Operations to innovate through automation, continuous improvement and systems support. He/she will be a key team member of the global HR function. This positions will also participate in the implementation, communication, and administration of HR Systems that support the company’s strategic direction.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

  • Provide first level support to key users for all management levels (multi-country, multi-divisions, Facilities, Locations and Users (management self-service and employee self-service). Resolve issues and participate in the implementation of a corrective action plan in collaboration with the required stakeholders.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter expert for existing HR applications and all related business processes.
  • Keep business requirements, processes, training material and procedures for HR up to date and maintain the online help on the intranet. Document recommendations on best practices for standardization and efficiencies in processing with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to change management activities by communicating and educating our key user network and impacted populations on systems and business process changes.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations and IT Teams to ensure alignment, delivery, maintenance & evolution of HR systems.
  • Leverage strong business analytical skills; can understand the business process/system issues and be able to perform fit gap analysis.
  • Assist in mandatory twice a year Workday functionality releases. This includes reviewing/analyzing enhancements, coordinating testing and communication activities.
  • Document test scripts and participate in test cycles.
  • Conduct data integrity checks, audits and reporting
  • Keep up with the latest Workday improvements using Workday Community.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience as an HR professional using Workday or a comparable HR system, acting as an HR key resource and requiring the resolution of complex situations.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and processes drawn from closely working with HR business partners.
  • Experience working with an HR system and related HR business processes including MSS/ESS, HCM, Time and attendance, Recruiting, Payroll and Learning. Skillful in managing changes effectively and identify business process/systems impacts.
  • Great track record in accomplishing business analysis, recommendation with capability to quantify and demonstrate business process efficiencies
  • Ability to communicate technical or business information to various audiences (non-technical, executives, leadership team etc…).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in French, English, Spanish (an asset).
  • Advanced user skills with the Microsoft suite, specifically Excel.

As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.

Salary Range

$65,010 - $85,320

  • Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
