Are you a business management generalist with a knack for strategic planning and portfolio optimization? Our Office of the CIO and Digital Transformation branch is looking for a talented Advisor, IIT Strategic Portfolio Management to join their team. This pivotal function ensures clarity, value, and assurance across the I+IT portfolio by leading the development of I+IT’s Strategic Plan, aligning it with the broader AGCO Strategic Plan, measuring annual priorities within an OKR framework, and establishing I+IT’s annual priorities. As the Advisor, you will support priority planning, report on portfolio health, automate processes, oversee governance, and measure divisional achievements. You will assess processes, conduct research, recommend efficiencies, analyze data, and deliver clear communications. Responsibilities:
WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE?In this role, the successful candidate will:
- Establish and maintain a continuous strategic and annual planning cycle framework for I+IT; proactively planning and optimizing the I+IT portfolio by conducting research, mapping out cycles and workback plans, and managing goal and OKR progress.
- Convert Strategic Leadership Team (SLT)’s strategic goals into a publishable strategic plan template; Translate strategic goals, objectives, key results, and other planning decisions into a visually appealing and internally publishable template.
- Support the development of strategic deliverables; create strategic deliverables, including performance reports and presentations that communicate progress and business value, with minimal oversight.
- Translates IT strategic plan into business outcomes; ensure IT strategic plan and direction align with business outcomes that demonstrate clear business value.
- Establish and maintain evidence and KPI reporting; provide strong evidence and research to support the IT strategic vision and plan, and measure divisional KPIs and business value.
- Collect data from required I+IT functions to prepare portfolio reports and dashboards on an agreed cadence with the broader I+IT management team.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert and maintain the I+IT Strategic Portfolio Management Playbook; act as the main point of contact for all I+IT management questions and training, and keep the playbook updated with continuous improvements.
- Lead change management for portfolio management processes: Manage changes to the portfolio management processes and practices.
- Lead the I+IT skillset gap analysis project; catalogue required skillsets to meet evolving business needs, assess current skillset inventory, conduct a gap analysis, and support recommendations to the SLT
