Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to scrum and project teams to ensure proper solution is defined and adhered to.
- Liaise with business and technical stakeholders to ensure proper priority in addressing technical debt. Provide direction to delivery teams to ensure they are addressed in the most efficient manner (group related components).
- Provide high level estimates on delivery work effort (development and QA, implementation, and post implementation support).
- Ensure adherence to coding, testing standards and best practices by the development team.
- Provide technical guidance and directions to QA team to ensure proper automation, testing, control, and reporting processes are in place. Building of regression test bed (environment with data for required use cases).
- Act as escalation point for scrum/project teams on functional, technical, quality, timeline challenges.
- Responsible for the technical aspect of releases end to end ensuring all parties engaged and aligned such as Infra/Ops, InfoSec, and Operations/UAT. This includes obtaining timely approval at various gates, code review, testing, operational readiness.
- Ensure the test and production environments is aligned and in sync and ability to meet the critical product release/implementation deadline.
- Engage in the daily huddle, and regular leadership status meeting.
- Establish the production support cadence, review ongoing operations, and rectify any issues.
- Understand how company’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance development and QA capabilities.
- Ensure agile best practices are applied to technical development and QA work.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
