REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree in political science, international relations, economics, law, or a related field with at least 3-5 years of prior project management experience (ideally with ECHO funding).
  • Previous experience with multi-stakeholders dialogue, and organizing events (online and face to face) with officials, including States representatives;
  • Previous experience with advocacy, ideally in an NGO ;
  • Solid experience and knowledge in humanitarian initiatives and the protection of civilians ;
  • Organizational skills to plan, implement, and monitor advocacy projects.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to translate complex political narrative into simple content ;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong inter-cultural communication skills
  • Analytical and mapping skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and punctual, with an ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously;
  • Independently with minimal supervision,
  • Proficiency in creating project plans and timelines;
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively in a team and with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, a good command of French is desirable
  • Very good IT skills - MS Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point) and very good knowledge of social media

. You contribute to other tasks on disarmament and protection of civilians:

  • Draft, review, and update policy documents related to disarmament and the protection of civilians
  • Contribute to development of funding proposals and drafting donor report
