JOB DESCRIPTION:
Capgemini is seeking an Adobe professional with expertise in Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to join our team in Canada as an AEP – AJO Developer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Adobe Experience Platform.
- Good knowledge of data management principles, including data modeling, integration, and governance.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, or data management solutions.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, along with strong skills in querying datasets, implementing data transformations, and data cleansing.
- Practical experience in creating custom applications, workflows, and integrations with Adobe Experience Platform APIs and SDKs.
- Expertise in REST and SOAP APIs for data exchange between the client and server, including implementing API endpoints and consuming third-party APIs.
- Worked on designed and implemented intricate XDM schemas tailored for both batch and streaming datasets, significantly enhancing data workflow efficiency.
- Expertise in integration of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) modules, including RTCDP, CJA, and AJO, to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in:
- Setting up source connectors and ingesting data through the AEP API and UI.
- Configuring Experience Events (XDM schemas) for capturing source data.
- Creating audience segments using custom and AI/ML-based methods.
- Triggering journeys and data activations based on segments and profiles.
- Integrating with destinations such as CRM, email, etc.
- Maintained strict adherence to industry best practices and applicable standards, prioritizing security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products like Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of converting business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conducted extensive research and developed robust solutions to address challenges identified by QA or product support teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively where needed.
- Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects at once and meeting deadlines.
ADDITIONAL GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS
- Experience in developing data-intensive applications and big data processing pipelines.
- Experience with Adobe Collection/Launch and event forwarding.
- Practical experience in developing with Adobe Experience Platform APIs and SDKs in languages such as JavaScript for API calls and Java for extending functionality with custom connectors or applications.
- Experience in automating technical tasks using tools like API integration tests, Postman for API testing, Git for source control.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and optimizing custom server-side applications.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics is a plus.
- Experience with interfacing with Snowflake and Azure ecosystems is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their business goals and needs, creating tailored solutions using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Design and deploy AEP solutions like RTCDP, configuring features such as data ingestion, modeling, segmentation, personalization, and integration with other systems.
- Help clients establish their data strategy, covering data collection, management, and governance.
- Create and manage audience segments in AEP, enhancing targeted marketing efforts and improving campaign effectiveness.
- Create data models and configure data schemas in AEP, ensuring accurate mapping of classes, field groups, identities, and attributes.
- Implement and validate data quality rules.
- Utilize AEP’s APIs and SDKs to stream data from various application connectors.
- Act as a reliable advisor to clients, fostering strong relationships and comprehending their business objectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams, such as developers, data engineers, and project managers, to ensure project success.
