Description:
Position Overview: As an Aeronautical Stress Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our aerospace products. You will be responsible for conducting stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and structural assessments to validate and optimize the design of aircraft components and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in aeronautical stress analysis within the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) tools such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or similar.
- Strong understanding of aircraft structures, materials, and design principles.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed stress analysis on aircraft structures and components to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Utilize finite element analysis (FEA) tools and methodologies to model and simulate structural behavior under various loading conditions.
- Collaborate with design engineers to provide input during the product development phase, offering insights to optimize structural performance.
- Evaluate and validate analytical results through testing and correlation with physical testing data.
- Generate comprehensive reports detailing stress analysis findings, providing recommendations for design modifications as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes related to aeronautical stress analysis.
