Description:

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of critical aerospace components and systems. This role involves hands-on work with high-pressure, cryogenic, and hydraulic systems, as well as thermal and vibration testing. The ideal candidate has a strong background in aerospace engineering, data analysis, and test execution, ensuring our systems meet rigorous performance and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in component testing and data analysis.
  • Proven expertise in the design, operation, testing, or production of pressurized (up to 6000 psi), cryogenic, actuated, and hydraulic systems.
  • Hands-on experience with sensors and instrumentation (e.g., pressure transducers, accelerometers), data acquisition, and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with precision clean hardware and systems.
  • Exposure to thermal and vibration testing.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both executive leadership and shop floor teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for spaceflight and space exploration.
  • Ability to build trust, maintain professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Industry experience in launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, motorsports, or oil & gas.
  • Strong knowledge of fluid system components (valves, regulators, actuators, servo-valves, fittings).
  • Experience in designing and fabricating test fixtures and tooling.
  • Ability to independently operate thermal and vibration testing systems.
    Job Type: Contract
    Pay: $62.00 - $77.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
