Description:

Position Overview: An Affiliate Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting an organization’s affiliate marketing program. They work with affiliate partners to optimize campaigns, track performance, and ensure that the program is aligned with company goals. This role involves communication with affiliates, data analysis, and collaboration with other marketing teams.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or e-commerce is preferred.
  • Familiarity with affiliate tracking platforms (e.g., ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten) is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel or other analytics tools.
  • Some knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several affiliate accounts simultaneously.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
    Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
    Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Affiliate Program Management:
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing affiliates.
  • Onboard new affiliates and guide them through the program’s terms, tracking systems, and best practices.
  • Communicate regularly with affiliates to provide support, updates, and resolve any issues.
  • Campaign Tracking & Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze affiliate performance, ensuring accurate tracking of sales, leads, clicks, and commissions.
  • Provide biweekly reports on affiliate performance, including metrics like conversion rates, ROI, and overall success of campaigns.
  • Use affiliate software and platforms (e.g., ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, etc.) to track and optimize affiliate performance.
  • Communication & Relationship Building:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with affiliates, addressing their concerns and assisting in campaign optimization. Send regular emails to affiliates alerting them of sales, promotions, etc.
  • Work closely with the marketing, creative, and product teams to develop promotional materials, banners, links, and content for affiliates.
  • Collaborate with affiliates on strategies to increase conversions and enhance program performance.
  • Program Optimization:
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in optimizing the affiliate program by proposing new strategies, adjusting commission structures, or implementing incentives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in affiliate marketing.
  • Compliance & Quality Control:
  • Ensure that affiliates adhere to the company’s policies, terms, and conditions.
  • Monitor affiliate marketing efforts for compliance with legal and ethical standards (e.g., proper disclosure of affiliate links). Provided by brand.
  • Address any violations of program terms and work to resolve disputes or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Support & Training:
  • Provide affiliates with educational resources and training to help them improve their promotional strategies. Provided by brand.
  • Answer affiliate inquiries related to program rules, payment schedules, and technical issues.
  • Offer guidance on how affiliates can maximize their earnings through optimized promotional strategies.
  • Incentive & Reward Programs:
  • Implement and manage incentive programs such as bonuses, contests, or exclusive offers for top-performing affiliates.
  • Track and assess the effectiveness of incentive programs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
