WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We at Hostelworld are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Affiliate Executive to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in driving channel efficiency and modernisation through technological advancements and automation strategies.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in affiliate marketing, with a strong track record of managing and optimising complex partnerships.
  • Ambitious, results-driven individual that enjoys working as a team but can also thrive independently.
  • Deep technical skills and the ability, including experience with API integrations, data analysis tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement automation solutions for improved efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, ability to convey technical aspects to a non-technical audience.
  • Confident working with budgets, targets, and data.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Highly comfortable with data analysis and manipulating data to make informed decisions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
  • Knowledge of technical implementations and troubleshooting challenges related to API integration, feed management, tracking, reporting, and visualisation.
  • Proven track record of establishing relationships and effectively communicating to key leaders and partners.
  • Experience with metasearch partners, affiliate management platforms, and large cross-functional teams working remotely.
  • Experience in forecasting and performing analytical analyses on performance.
  • Knowledge of how the affiliate channel works together with clients overall digital programs and site performance is required.
  • Good understanding on measuring full customer conversion path and data driven attribution models.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO ‍

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key affiliate partners.
  • Leverage your analytical expertise to identify opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement within partnerships to maximise partner ROI.
  • Work with tech teams to oversee the integration of APIs and automation tools to optimise affiliate program workflows.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for internal and partner use.
  • Manage complex partnerships requiring in-depth analysis and ongoing optimisation.
  • Collaborate with partners to negotiate commission structures and ensure alignment with overall channel objectives.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Analyse current workflows and identify opportunities for automation to enhance channel efficiency.
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of new technologies and tools to modernise the affiliate program.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the affiliate program infrastructure.
