Employer: Woodside Primary School
Salary: £24,027 to £24,404 FTE pro-rata per annum (actual £8376 to £8507 per annum)
Location: Whitchurch Way, Halton Lodge, Runcorn
Contract: Contract
Working Pattern: Part Time/Term Time
Hours: 15 hours per week. Monday to Friday 15:00 to 18:00.

Woodside Primary School are seeking to employ an After School Club Assistant to support a new after-school provision as part of our wraparound care (FTC to July 2026).
We are looking for a dedicated, creative, resilient and dynamic person with a strong inclusive ethos to help run the club.
Duties include arranging activities for a small group of children, preparing snacks and drinks, supporting with homework and liaising with parents and staff.
The club will run from 3pm to 6pm in school.

Responsibilities will include

  • Helping prepare and deliver quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment as per the timetable
  • Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment
  • Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene standards are met
  • Meet and greet the children on arrival
  • Administering first aid, when necessary
  • Undertaking appropriate and relevant training
  • Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure
  • Working within the framework of the school’s policies and procedures
