After School Enrichment Teacher

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

• Location: Bukit Timah Plaza / Thomson Plaza
• Work Days: Monday - Friday
• Work Hours: 9.30am - 7pm
• Work Hours: (7am - 4.30pm / 9.30am - 7pm during MOE-scheduled school holidays)

JOB DESCRIPTION

A. Student Care

• Work with supervisor to support the daily operations of the centre, including both administrative and teaching duties
• Ensure a seamless customer care experience for both prospective and existing clientele from handling enquiries and collecting payments, to maintaining good relationships with existing clientele
• Work with supervisor to ensure the overall safety and effectiveness of the learning environment
• Prepare progress reports for assigned students on a termly basis

B. Holistic Enrichment

• Prepare materials and deliver enrichment lessons for students on designated days
• Work with supervisor to plan and facilitate special events and/or excursions during school holidays

C. Academic Teaching

• Deliver quality lessons for up to 3-4 assigned classes (in-house curriculum provided)
• Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
• Mark and grade students’ assignments with value-added feedback

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to teach one of the subjects from P1 to P6 (English / Mathematics / Science)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Up-to-date with latest MOE syllabus
• At least 2-3 years of teaching experience
• Have experience in teaching in group settings (4 to 12 students)Passion for teaching and nurturing students
