Position: ELL Teacher
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ELL Teacher to join our team at our West Vancouver location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ELL preparation, with the ability to assess student progress effectively and provide personalized guidance.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of experience teaching ELL
· Proficiency in ELL score assessment
· Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students and parents
· Ability to inspire and motivate students towards academic success
· Excellent organizational and classroom management skills
· Flexible availability to conduct sessions during afternoons, early evenings, and weekends
Responsibilities:
· Conduct ELL preparation sessions focusing on English and related subjects
· Assess student strengths and weaknesses, providing targeted feedback and strategies for improvement
· Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation
· Collaborate with parents and colleagues to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
