JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
GE Aerospace is a major manufacturer of aircraft engines and components partnering with the world’s major aerospace companies covering commercial, business jet and military applications.
We are currently recruiting for an Aftermarket Quality Engineer to join our quality team in Cheltenham.
In this role you would utilise your experience to perform and support product quality reviews associated with our manufacturing process and support others in the team. This is a great opportunity for someone that has gained quality experience in either aviation or other highly regulated manufacturing environment and looking to further their career and learn new skills.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Major experience in aviation or highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to work to timescales, achieve personal deadlines and contribute to team objectives.
- Ability to energise teams and create an engaging work environment, promoting inclusiveness.
- Acute attention to detail with good verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal communication & facilitation skills whilst remaining extremely motivated, flexible and determined.
- Ability to consider the external impact of business activities and decisions on customers, market/industry, investors, media, government and communities including Safety Management Systems and Human Factors
- Competent IT skills, including interaction with operational business management systems, alongside Microsoft Office applications
