QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Millwright with Gas testing and Flameproofing;
• Valid Driver’s License;
• Own transport;
• Must be able to obtain a medical clearance. (Red Ticket);
• Experience in the mining industry environment;
• Team mentality - working as part of a bigger team towards achieving common goals and understanding of the effects of sound engineering discipline on the KMC business;
• Understand and fabricate as per approved OEM drawings;
• Maintenance experience on JOY machines;
• Knowledge of JOY equipment will be advantageous.

• Maintain safety (SHE) standards at all time;
• Ensure correct and applicable use of and proper control of personnel protective equipment (PPE);
• Always maintain quality workmanship;
• Ensure proper timekeeping;
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying and facilitating the implementation of new ideas, processes, and/or methods, by reporting it to the Foreman;
• Assist with maintenance preparation and legal inspections;
• Assist Customer with Breakdowns;
• Inspect production machines for the safe operation of all components;
• Compile proper customer & Inspection reports.
