Completely Care Ltd are seeking compassionate and dedicated Agency Healthcare Assistants to join our clients team and support individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse.
As an Agency Healthcare Assistant you’ll play a crucial role in providing care and support to our clients. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Assisting with day-to-day care and support in a drug rehabilitation setting.
Keeping an eye on clients’ progress, behavior, and vital signs.
Making sure clients take their prescribed medication as directed.
Providing support during crisis situations and helping to de-escalate tense situations.
Being there emotionally for clients and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.
Working closely with the treatment team to create and implement individual care plans.
Helping clients develop essential life skills and make positive choices.
Participating in group activities and therapy sessions, encouraging clients to get involved.
Keeping accurate records of your interactions with clients and the interventions you provide.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a healthcare assistant, preferably in drug rehabilitation or mental health.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in healthcare or social services.
Knowledge of substance abuse, addiction, and recovery principles.
A caring and non-judgmental approach to individuals seeking recovery.
Great communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work well as part of a team and create a positive work environment.
Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
