We are looking for someone who would be part of the International Agent Maintenance Team as an Agent Database Administrator responsible for setup new agents in company’s systems through a process that involves extensive coordination with various global functional units in Western Union.
Responsibilities:
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position’s primary responsibility is to provide support for existing agents in the company’s systems through a process that involves extensive coordination with various global functional units such as Finance, Legal, Field Operations, Systems, Treasury, etc.
- Ensures a timely and accurate system setup of new Network Agents and Commercial subscribers.
- This position will create automation and process enhancements with the assistance but not limited to MS Power Automate, Python, and any other tool that can provide connection and inside security standards.
- Creating new ways to perform the daily tasks for the team. Will consider the implementation of changes in complex and critical databases.
- Provide support on database data extraction with ODBC and/or Snowflake connections, knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, and Power BI.
- Supports implementation/integration or phases of larger implementation/integration projects which include research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, problem resolution, and training.
- Responsible for the agent’s full life cycle of database maintenance integrity and recoverability, including post-rollout review.
- Performs under continuous alert mode and awareness of the task’s impact.
- Relates well cross-culturally and cross-functionally in order to perform responsibilities that are dependent on external input.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in university or bachelor’s degree programs
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal communications).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, Python and Power BI.
- Confident working with AS400, Salesforce, and Access databases.
- Open to work in a changing environment.
- Efficient, accuracy and analytical skills are critical requirements for this position.
