DETAILS
- Department:Office Operations
- Schedule:Full Time, 8 hour day shift, Monday-Friday
- Location:Remote
To ensure cohesion and collaboration in the workplace, Resource Group associates filling remote roles are expected to be available for meetings and other work related needs between 9AM-4PM CST. Customer facing positions may have other preferences which will be discussed during the interview process.
REQUIREMENTS
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Paralegal preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

This role falls within The Resource Group’s Strategic Sourcing Solution which focuses on contracting for the supplies and services that meet the criteria determined by caregivers. This group also continuously develops innovative approaches to contracting to further drive savings. Information about the responsibilities for this role can be found below:
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions to minimize risk for all healthcare Participants
- Performs contract management and maintenance tasks including amendments, extension of terms, and product additions and deletions
- Reviews and analyzes sourcing data, market trends, benchmarking best practices, and maintain market awareness to provide continuous improvements for sourcing strategies
- Develops and facilitate collaborative working relationships with Finance, Corporate Risk, Legal, Contract Design and Integration teams through communications and timely reporting of changes in critical business matters
- Consistently works to achieve a competitive advantage in total cost, quality, technology, and supply continuity across disciplines to ensure achievement of acceptable products and vendors as indicated by end-user groups
- Ensures consistent and defendable sourcing strategies and supply chain processes are in place and properly administered in compliance with all regulations and policies
- Provides regular updates on category strategies and supplier relationship management programs, including key performance metrics and status of process improvement initiatives
