EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Responsibilities:
- Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Wing Structure, to support in-service issues.
- Nonlinear “Virtual Test” Simulations to support Aircraft Research programmes and Early Development programmes.
- Use of Advanced Numerical Simulation packages like Abaqus, 3DX, Hyperworks and Nastran.
- Learn how to correctly identify and simulate the physics of Aircraft Structural behaviour and to develop the Engineering judgement required to understand the results of our simulations.
- Learn about our aircraft, their design, manufacture and in-service support.
- Have the opportunity to gain experience in other departments like Research, Design, Materials, Structures Test, Aerodynamics and Manufacturing
