EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Entry Level

• Developing a broad understanding of the thermal engineering discipline and applying this knowledge to a range of exciting projects spanning Telecoms and Navigation, Earth Observation and Science, and Exploration missions
• Completing detailed thermal analysis to ensure the successful thermal design of spacecraft operating in a range of challenging thermal environments
• Supporting thermal testing and the correlation thermal models to obtained test data
• Supporting a range of “Space Physics” tasks such as aerobraking simulation, plume flux modelling, and analysis of atomic oxygen fluence
• Utilising a range of tools such as Systema Thermica/Thermisol, ESATAN-TMS, and Hyperworks to perform simulation and modelling tasks
• Supporting R&D activities to develop innovative new processes and technologies
• Reporting and presenting your findings to a range of internal and external stakeholders
