YOU ARE:

UST is seeking a highly experienced Agile Consultant with over 10 years of expertise to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Agile transformations, coaching teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to adapt and implement best practices in diverse environments.

The Opportunity:

  • Agile Transformation:
  • Lead and facilitate Agile transformations across multiple teams and departments.
  • Develop and execute Agile adoption strategies tailored to the organization’s needs.
  • Assess the current state of Agile practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coaching and Mentoring:
  • Provide expert coaching and mentoring to Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on Agile principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the organization.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
  • Facilitate the establishment and maintenance of Agile metrics to track progress and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and principles.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to align Agile initiatives with business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to promote understanding and support for Agile methodologies.
  • Address and resolve any resistance to Agile adoption.
  • Agile Practices Implementation:
  • Guide teams in the implementation of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of product backlogs, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Support the use of Agile tools and technologies to facilitate project management and collaboration.
  • Leadership and Advocacy:
  • Act as an Agile champion and advocate within the organization.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating Agile values and principles in all interactions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in Agile practices and methodologies.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Agile coaching, consulting, or a related role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading Agile transformations in diverse environments.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Agile Coach) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello) is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change at all organizational levels.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
