WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a talented and bilingual Agile Delivery Manager (Discovery Lead) who can effectively facilitate Discovery sessions for one of our key clients in the USA. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in leading such spaces, with a strong background in Agile methodologies and project management. This role requires the ability to manage teams, ensure clarity and commitment to project objectives, and maintain a high standard of quality throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal profiles should have the following skills and qualifications:

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles involving team management.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban.
  • Solid knowledge in the Software Development Life Cycle, Application Life Cycle, and Project Management.
  • Experience with Agile Scaling, Program and Portfolio Management.
  • Competence in Budget Management, Project Scheduling, Risk Management, and Knowledge Management.
  • Familiarity with PPM tools like Project Online and ALM tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Practical experience in techniques associated with structuring initiatives from an Agile perspective (Design Thinking, Agile Inception, Design Sprint, etc.).
  • Proficiency in digital tools for facilitating virtual spaces (Miro, Mural, or similar).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Informatics, Administration, Psychology (preferably with an organizational focus), or Processes.
  • Desirable: Postgraduate training relevant to management, leadership, or similar fields.
  • Continuous or complementary training, including certifications in Project Management, Agile Methodologies, or frameworks related to the CoE, will be valued.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 7 years of total professional experience.
    Work Modality: Remote LATAM

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and converse fluently.

Responsibilities:

  • Clarity and Commitment: Evaluate the feasibility and relevance of the value proposition, ensuring understanding of the client’s expectations, requirements, objectives, metrics, and constraints at the start of new assignments.
  • Work Planning: Develop initiative plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, aiming for early and continuous delivery within sustainable work dynamics.
  • Initiative and Team Management: Lead assigned teams to generate value and ensure delivery according to the negotiated scope, meeting delivery timelines consistent with client expectations and available resources. Efficiently manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess situations that could hinder or delay the fulfillment of commitments, taking steps to mitigate or prevent these risks in favor of the client and the company.
  • Scope, Cost, Budget, and Change Control: Manage scopes, schedules, and budgets to respect formal commitments. Centralize client requests or team proposals to review their relevance and confirm acceptance or rejection, keeping stakeholders informed about potential impacts on time and cost.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure systematic and planned processes are applied to verify that deliverables meet quality expectations.
  • Monitoring and Control: Establish and maintain monitoring and control mechanisms for progress in assignments, including data collection on work progress, comparison with the schedule and budget, and early identification of deviations. Take corrective actions when necessary to maintain agreed-upon scope, quality, schedules, and budgets. Produce regular reports to keep stakeholders informed about the work’s reality and any relevant changes or updates.
  • Communication: Lead and manage communications, relationships, or escalations through communication channels and dynamics aligned with the client and the company.
