Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We have an exciting newly created opportunity for an Agile Sourcing Manager to join our team. This role is a large scope category agnostic role to seek out opportunities company wide. Sitting in our centralised procurement this role will be crucial in the next phase of transformation of the Crown Resorts business. Bringing a management consultant mindset you will be responsible for;
- Leading and mentoring a high performing procurement team, developing their talent and skills to support innovation and growth
- Driving strategic sourcing events with the key focus on optimising cost, quality, delivery and technology standards
- Improving business unit performance via supplier consolidation, negotiating commercial supplier arrangements and developing strategic partnerships
- Working closely with key internal stakeholders to understand and challenge their requirements, providing sourcing solutions that meet their needs.
- Working seamlessly with the category team to share category and industry knowledge to support business strategy and cost optimisation targets
- Ensuring compliance with and adherence to all relevant legislation and policies and procedures in relation to Responsible Service of Gaming (including training), and the Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct.
This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to make their mark on an iconic brand. To be successful you will have ideally come from a management consultant background with strategic sourcing experience in a commercial setting. This role requires a high degree of energy and passion to bring the team along for the journey, You will also have;
- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant business or commerce field is desirable
- Extensive contract management and sourcing experience ideally in FMCG or other business relevant industry
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to relay business strategy
- Extensive experience in building supplier relationships and proven examples of past performance improvement
- Highly skilled in influencing and negotiation
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop a high performing tea
