The School of Agriculture Sciences is seeking a motivated and experienced Continuing Education Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing continuing education programs in agriculture sciences. This role involves working closely with faculty, industry experts, and participants to ensure the delivery of effective and relevant educational content.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably a diploma in an agriculture discipline or a related field.
  • Experience in developing and delivering educational training programs.
  • Knowledgeable and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable with social media such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Design, develop, and implement continuing education programs in agriculture sciences, including workshops, seminars, webinars, micro-credentials and certificate courses.
  • Coordination: Manage the logistics of continuing education programs, including scheduling, registration, venue arrangements, and materials preparation.
  • Collaboration: Work with faculty, industry professionals, additional post-secondary institutions and stakeholders to identify educational needs and develop relevant content.
  • Marketing: Promote continuing education programs through various channels, including social media, and partnerships with industry organizations.
  • Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of programs through participant feedback and program metrics and make improvements as necessary.
  • Budget Management: Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
