In partnership with the Government of Alberta, and developed with our academic partners Olds College of Agriculture and Technology, Ballad Group is delivering AgriEdge Careers where skilled immigrants will join a comprehensive program designed to enhance your employability and open doors to various business roles. This program is perfect for those looking to gain the edge in today’s competitive job market. The program is designed to prepare you for roles such as:
- Customer Service Representative (Financial Institutions)
- Technical Sales Specialist (Wholesale Trade)
- Accounting & Related Clerks
- Financial Sales Representative
- Administrative Officers & Assistants
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Skilled immigrants with a high school diploma or GED (18+ years of age).
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) should be a minimum of 6.5 or 7.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Relevant skills and industry knowledge.
Program Term: We are now recruiting for in-class training starting on September 9, 2024, in Calgary, AB. AgriEdge has three intake cohorts (September, January, and April), each running for 11 weeks. The program includes a 3-week work experience with an additional 90-day (bi-weekly) follow-up period.
Work/Learning Location: In-person (Calgary, AB) and virtual (when applicable)
