Description:

The business focus is customer service for both irrigation and dryland production systems for both winter and summer crops, including cereal grains, cotton and pulses.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE ITSELF?

This is an opportunity to join this business in servicing and consulting directly to farmers. You will provide solutions to their crop protection/nutrition needs and guide them through their agronomy plans. Your day to day activities in this role will include:

  • promoting the companies service offering and products
  • advising and supporting farmers
  • offering technical guidance and assistance direct to growers
  • working with farmers directly to improve their yield and efficiency
  • supporting, maintaining and improving current client relationships
  • progressing and developing the reach of the business

WHAT KIND OF PERSON WILL FIT THE ROLE?

The perfect person for this role would be someone that has had previous experience in broadacre/pasture/cotton production and tertiary qualifications in agricultural science. A person that has a proven ability to establish, maintain and develop commercial relationships with farmers by providing quality information and solutions. This role will suit someone that is passionate about the region and is driven to exceed the expectations of the farmers that occupy it.
