Description:

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical education and experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science
  • Experience programming in Python.

SKILLS WE VALUE:

  • Experience developing and training models for Computer Vision, Conversational AI, Natural Language Processing, Decision Support, Ranking/Recommendations, Speech, and Audio.
  • Experience using development tools/environments such as AWS, Linux, Ubuntu, Bash, Conda, pip, VS code, Spyder, Git + Github, GPU’s, REST APIs.
  • Experience developing in python with relevant libraries (i.e. Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, Unstructured.io, LangChain, Haystack, SQLAlchemy)
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes (CI/CD), testing, and delivery for existing and new team products.
  • Experience with LLM’s and Generative AI state-of-the-art methodologies.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). Optimizes costs, storage, processing, and access to integrated data.
  • Experience with AI research, theory, and innovation.

We are seeking an Algorithms Engineer to develop and support AI applications and foundational algorithms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • You will design, evaluate, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models, data pipelines, and solutions.
  • You will lead the development of AI applications and products, specifically the foundational models and algorithms. Solutions include vision, speech, gesture, touch, robotics, and advanced search technologies.
  • You will experience building and deploying data pipelines focusing on data ingestion, integration, modeling, optimization, and quality for AI processing.
  • You will provide production support for existing and future models, data pipelines, and solutions.
  • You will have strong problem-solving skills to deal with ambiguity, bring clarity, create energy, and drive solutions end-to-end. Possess the drive to dive deep, thrive and progress even in uncertain or undefined situations.
  • You will work well in an environment focused on rapid yet thorough delivery of product from specifications and instructions when provided.
  • You will participate in code reviews, raise technical risks, and create documentation helping to ensure all development projects meet the needs of applicable requirements.
  • You will lead activities to improve company AI literacy, including training, education and knowledge sharing of AI products, services, tools, stakeholders, and processes across the enterprise.
