Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Lead to join us. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with affiliates inside the Proximus group as well as with B2B customers of Proximus, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, and defining and executing business development strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the AI industry and the ability to drive growth and increase market visibility.
DEGREE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, within the AI or technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Experience as team lead is a big plus

- You have a strong knowledge of AI technology application, machine learning algorithms and data science approaches
- You have good knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure + IT software development
- You have practical experience in E2E AI projects development, and you are familiar with AIOps/MLOps concepts
- You can easily translate complex technical details (or abstract methods) into clear customer applications & benefits
- You have experience in answering RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s
- You are organized, professional, structured in your approach & follow up and you have the sense of details
- You are a team player and love to work both with business & technical profiles
- You are curious & eager to stay updated with the lates AI trends, techniques and industry developments
- You can create impactful & professional PowerPoint presentations to inspire & convince new customers to invest in AI
- You can inspire, lead & motivate others, facilitate co-creation & drive initiatives
- Any Project management (also agile) certification is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Strategy definition & execution:
- Define the AI business development strategy, in collaboration with the AI Strategy Staff, and drive its execution
- Identify, evaluate & pursue new business opportunities for B2B customers as well as affiliates within the Proximus Group, to drive growth and expand market presence
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, conduct or coordinate market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Ensure alignment of business development efforts with company goals
- People management: lead a team of AI strategy consultants and presales engineers
- High-quality delivery of business development activities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop presentations and proposals for potential clients, coordinate answers to RFI, RFP & RFQ with high quality
- Contribute to portfolio definition & expansion and detail our offer
- Negotiate and close business deals to achieve revenue targets
- Monitor and report business development activities and results
- Stakeholder management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders, act as a trusted partner
- Ensure a smooth collaboration with Proximus group affiliates and account managers
- External recognition:
- Ensure Proximus Ada is attending important AI events and coordinate preparation
- Represent Proximus Ada in AI-related conferences
