DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to support Intel projects focused on running AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) on CPUs. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating new AI infrastructure, optimizing the performance of LLMs and GenAI models on CPUs, and providing advisory expertise on AI implementations on CPUs for specific deals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience optimizing AI models for CPU architectures
  • At least 3 years experience in AI, machine learning, and data analysis
  • At least 3 years experience with at least one programming languages such as C, C++ or Python
  • At least 1 years experience with TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and PyTorch
  • At least 1 year experience with data visualization tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Similar
  • Knowledge of CUDA and SYCL programming models
  • Knowledge in traditional ML algorithms and their acceleration on Intel hardware

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of new AI infrastructure
  • Optimize and fine-tune LLMs and GenAI models for efficient execution on CPUs
  • Provide expert advisory services on AI implementations on CPUs for specific client deals
  • Collaborate with technical writers to produce high-quality technical content on running AI and LLMs on CPUs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and CPU technologies
  • Expert support on customer engagements
  • OneAPI, OneDAL, OneDNN, OneCCL and TPC-C coding experience preferred
