Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DECISION OWNERSHIP:
- Coordinate and manage the planning and execution of AI projects within the Agile Release Train.
- Lead and coach Agile Release Train composed of multiple cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate PI Planning, Program Increment (PI) Execution, System Demo and other Agile ceremonies.
- Monitor and measure ART key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify improvement areas. Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers.
- Manage dependencies and risks across multiple teams, ensuring timely resolution of impediments.
- Ensure that AI initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
- Drive continuous improvement in AI project delivery processes and practices by conducting retrospectives.
- Align AI projects with Vodafone’s strategic goals and objectives.
CORE COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum).
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

The AI Release Train Engineer (RTE) will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of AI-related projects within the Agile Release Train (ART). This role involves ensuring that AI initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. The AI RTE will lead multiple global squads and play a crucial role in facilitating communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, and aligning AI projects with Vodafone’s strategic goals.
