WE ARE LOOKING FOR

AI Security Researcher
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and motivated (PhD graduate, Senior or Principal level) Researcher specializing in Computer Vision, Multimodal or lightweight model design to address challenges in content security and build good detection capabilities to ensure safe content is presented to users.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Academic and/or industrial proven success in the area of Computer Vision/Multimodal/GenAI. Applying for Security is an additional bonus.

  • Deep knowledge and hands-on research on Transformer, CNN and Diffusion architecture, neural network editing. Use of Deep Learning concepts and technologies.
  • Proven success in designing lightweight, high performance architecture and models for devices, solving challenging problem in content security is a big plus.
  • Experience in bias detection and prevention, explainable AI, robustness improvement is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Python and hands-on experience with some NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, public cloud environments and technologies. Mobile development experience is a plus.
  • Proven records in top-tier publications, e.g., TPAMI, CVPR, ICCV, ACL, EMNLP, etc.
  • Ph.D. in CV/AI/NLP, computer science, maths, statistics, computational linguistics, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in defining the content policy and research roadmap in the field of Content Security, Generative AI, and on-device AI.
  • Conduct research in content security to design and build state-of-the-art solutions or novel AI model architecture for global abuse detection and prevention systems, improving detection robustness, generalization, and reliability of the solution with explainability, and reducing bias.
  • Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies, staying current on published state-of-the-art GenAI, Deep Learning, machine learning (ML) methods, technologies, and applications.
  • Explore research opportunities and establish research collaboration with academia.
  • Design new features, identify and design the right metrics, and perform data analysis to drive decision-making for the team, such as monitoring the rollout of new models, analyzing the impact of machine learning model changes, or investigating the root cause of unanticipated changes in key metrics.
  • Effectively convey findings and recommendations to the team and cross-functional stakeholders.
