As the leading digital healthcare provider in Sweden, with millions of registered users and consultations every year, we’re expanding our AI capabilities to revolutionize the experience for both patients and medical professionals.
We are now looking for a driven and experienced AI Specialist to join our engineering leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take the lead in defining and implementing our AI strategy, making key decisions on technology, ethical usage, and practical applications. You will help us unlock the potential of AI to improve healthcare outcomes, streamline operations, and enhance the experience for doctors, nurses, and patients alike.

Responsibilities:

As the AI Specialist, you will be responsible for driving all AI initiatives at Doktor.se, from high-level strategy to hands-on implementation. You will work across teams to identify the best ways to leverage AI in healthcare, applying your deep technical expertise to deliver impactful solutions. You will have the support of our existing engineering teams to bring your AI vision to life.

In this role, you will:

  • Set the AI Strategy: Define and drive Doktor.se’s AI vision, aligning it with our business goals to create measurable impact in healthcare efficiency, patient outcomes, and operational performance.
  • Hands-On Development: Collaborate with our engineers to develop and deploy AI solutions that enhance workflows for medical professionals and improve patient care.
  • Technology Leadership: Make key decisions on technology choices, identifying the best tools, platforms, and models to implement AI efficiently and ethically within our healthcare systems.
  • AI Integration: Work with existing 3rd-party integrations while also leading the charge on internal AI developments, ensuring seamless integration with our current platforms.
  • Ethical Oversight: Ensure that all AI implementations comply with data privacy regulations and uphold the highest standards of ethics in healthcare, especially when handling sensitive patient information.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Report directly to the CEO and work with other senior leaders to ensure AI initiatives support the company’s overall strategic goals.
  • Hybrid Work: Work from our office in Stockholm three days per week, with flexibility for remote work the remaining days.
