Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking expressions of interest from Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentices, ideally in the second, third or fourth year of your apprenticeship, to work in several exciting opportunities.
You may be seeking a change to gain exposure to different type of work, or looking to continue your apprenticeship which has stopped.
MIGAS works with multiple well-established hosts and is looking for interest from apprentices based in:
- Rockhampton
- Mackay
- Townsville
- Bundaberg
- Sunshine Coast
Undertaking an air conditioning and refrigeration apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become qualified in this specialist trade while completing your UEE32211 Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
Working under the direction of qualified tradespeople, duties will include:
- Assisting with installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC equipment in commercial facilities
- Working at heights and using general hand tools and other industry-specific tooling
