Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
For our Milan Office we are looking for an Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Expert. You will play a pivotal role in supporting capacity and pricing procurement for both regular and ad hoc business and trade lanes. Ensuring carrier management is a cornerstone of our strategy, you will help gain and retain customers, always staying aligned with company policy.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a comprehensive procurement plan: align your procurement strategy with larger initiatives to ensure cohesive and effective operations.
- Optimize carrier share: assess current carrier share for key trade lanes and recommend optimization measures to maximize core carrier share.
- Consolidate volumes for better yields: identify opportunities to consolidate current volumes, enhancing yields and optimizing ANR, while laying the groundwork for future business development.
- Evaluate carrier metrics: ensure volume allocations align with targets to support the success of the PCP program.
- Maximize Gateway volumes: monitor and drive the maximization of volumes through our Gateways to achieve better consolidation benefits and support cost management
