Description:

You will be part of our Air Logistics team, leading the delivery of our growth objectives with yourpricing expertise + skills.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in air freight logistics, specifically in pricing.
  • 3+ years in a managerial role within logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Extensive knowledge of the air freight industry, including pricing models, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of international trade laws, customs regulations, and INCOTERMS.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive air freight pricing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of pricing analysts, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate pricing strategies and results to senior management and clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and pricing initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address pricing discrepancies, logistical challenges, and operational issues.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles related to pricing, including margin analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and profitability metrics.

YOUR ROLE

Your primary objective will be to deliver against our growth strategy by ensuring that pricing support to businessdevelopment is a priority + key factor in gaining + retaining volumes. You will do this by working with a varietyof internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:-

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To gain insight on quoted business + share the same with your team working on pricing requests, ensuringappropriate pricing solutions are offered.
  • To liaise closely + regularly with the procurement + carrier management team, staying ahead of marketchanges, then incorporating the knowledge in pricing solutions.
  • To pro-actively gain + share information on target customers from a pricing perspective, keeping ourprocurement teams well informed on target business to support carrier discussions.
  • To guide the teams to present various alternative pricing options, providing development teams withenough flexibility when engaging with customers.
  • To liaise between the pricing + the procurement teams, periodically participating in carrier discussions toshare deeper business insights for building solutions for our customers, keeping the pricing team informedon carrier updates when working on pricing requests.
  • To initiate trade lane promotions based on knowledge of market gained from our development +procurement teams to help build additional business volumes.
