Description:

The Department of Environmental Quality is looking to hire an Environmental Scientist to work in their Division of Air Quality. This position may be filled at any of the advertised levels listed below. Salary depends on the job level offered within the series. This recruitment may be used for future positions within the division.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience following standard operating procedures and protocols while ensuring and maintaining Chain of Custody.
  • Experience working in and around analytical equipment and instruments. Experience ensuring quality control measures are followed.
  • Experience working independently, including working at off-campus locations.
  • The ability to operate, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment including air monitoring equipment.
