Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
You will be responsible for providing supervision and team leadership to ensure maintenance is performed and completed, and when required, carry out maintenance tasks as directed in accordance with company practices and national /international aviation standards. You will also:
- Coordinate and supervise a team, providing mentoring and coaching.
- Monitor work activities and work closely with relevant stakeholders to address any issues that may affect the successful completion of tasks and projects.
- Perform AME, Authorised Person, Maintenance Inspector/Supervisor, and/or Independent Inspector maintenance tasks in accordance with all regulatory and company standards as required.
- Ensure team skills, knowledge, qualifications and capability are maintained and developed in order to support current and planned projects.
- Allocate assigned labour resources to ensure maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently and effectively with minimum cost.
- Actively contribute to the preparation of regular and on-demand technical and non-technical reports.
- Apply quality framework principles to ensure company commitment to providing the highest quality service and product possible is achieved.
- Ensure that business processes are in place to ensure customer deliverables are supported.
- Exercise control over maintenance related expenditures, including materials charges, personnel task assignments, rosters, and overtime.
- Any other duties as required
To see you succeed in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in a relevant discipline (Aeroskills - Avionics, Mechanical, Structures etc.) from a recognised institution
- Military Aircraft Maintenance License (MAML).
- 3 to 5 year’s experience in a supervisory position.
- Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of at least one of the following regulatory frameworks: AMO, CASA, EASA and/ or FAA.
- Computer literacy with an ability to produce, analyse, and interpret complex reports and information
