Aircraft Engine Technician

• Maintenance and servicing of Power Plant system and components
• Inspect aircraft engines and related components to identify and diagnose malfunctions
• Must be able to carry out component change and perform repairs or replace worn, defective, or damaged aircraft engine parts
• Carry out electrical terminations and connections.
• Must know how to test engine components and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and use testing equipment to diagnose and identify engine problems.
• Disassemble and reassemble engines and components.
• Must be able to rig and de-rig engine for testing
• Inspect aircraft wings and fuselages for structural integrity
• Ensure aircraft engines are in compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components and systems of aircraft engines
• Must be able to know how to use hand and power tools
• Good problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Assist Aircraft Engineers in troubleshooting and rectification
• Carry out general workshop practice
• Must be able to read, write & converse in English
• Must be able to work at heights
• Must have min 5 years relevant experience as an Engine Technician
• Must have a diploma in Aerospace Maintenance
• If possess relevant Aircraft Servicing/Maintenance Vocational Training, local or overseas will be considered
• Work location is in the east
• Must be able to work shift
