Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY:
The incumbent is responsible for repairing and maintaining aircraft avionics equipment, performing scheduled and unscheduled avionics tasks, troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems, overseeing the work or and assisting apprentices, and ensuring Air North’s facilities, including avionics shop, tools and equipment are maintained to industry standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform maintenance on aircraft instruments, avionics and electrical systems and components:
Carry out systems testing in accordance with appropriate documentation such as Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Service bulletins, Engineering Orders
Calibrate or adjust electronic equipment or instruments to specification
Carry out troubleshooting procedures to isolate faults
Coordinate work with engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel
Conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials and manuals
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects
