TalentWorld is recruiting a Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Aerospace, or related field (preferred).
  • Transport Canada AME - E License (required).
  • 3-5 years of experience in avionics maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with Dash 8 and CRJ aircraft is an asset.
  • Proficient in avionics systems (e.g., communication, navigation, autopilot).
  • Skilled in using avionics testing tools and maintenance software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • ACA certification or willingness to pursue it is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, and service avionics systems, including communications and navigation.
  • Install and test avionics equipment for functionality and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs.
  • Work closely with teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a tidy workspace.
  • Offer technical assistance and mentorship to team members.
