TalentWorld is recruiting a Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Aerospace, or related field (preferred).
- Transport Canada AME - E License (required).
- 3-5 years of experience in avionics maintenance and repair.
- Experience with Dash 8 and CRJ aircraft is an asset.
- Proficient in avionics systems (e.g., communication, navigation, autopilot).
- Skilled in using avionics testing tools and maintenance software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- ACA certification or willingness to pursue it is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, and service avionics systems, including communications and navigation.
- Install and test avionics equipment for functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs.
- Work closely with teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a tidy workspace.
- Offer technical assistance and mentorship to team members.
