SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Enrollment in an avionics training program (DEC or AEC in aircraft maintenance).
• Strong understanding of avionics systems (electronics, computing, and communication).
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in avionics maintenance.
• Fluency in French is required, and a good command of English is necessary to interact with English-speaking clients.

ROLE AND CONTEXT

The Avionics Technician Apprentice works under the supervision of certified technicians to ensure the maintenance, repair, and inspection of avionics systems (communication, navigation, sensors, and control systems). They assist with routine inspections, diagnostics, and the overhaul of avionics systems in compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards. This position offers hands-on learning in a high-tech environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the inspection and maintenance of avionics systems (radios, radars, navigation systems).
• Perform diagnostic tests under supervision to identify malfunctions in avionics systems.
• Participate in the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of avionics components.
