Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Airport Asset Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to specialize in benchmarking costs for the asset portfolio, contributing to the enhancement of asset stewardship through effective cost management strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in O&M cost analysis and benchmarking.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with asset management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in using relevant software for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Cost Benchmarking:
- Conduct detailed benchmarking analyses to compare O&M costs for various assets within the portfolio against industry standards and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements based on benchmarking results.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather and analyze data related to O&M costs, considering factors such as equipment maintenance, labour, utilities, and other operational expenses.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection.
- Performance Metrics:
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to O&M costs, enabling effective monitoring and reporting.
- Implement performance metrics to measure cost-effectiveness and identify trends over time.
- Cost Forecasting:
- Utilize historical data and industry trends to develop accurate and reliable O&M cost forecasts.
- Collaborate with forecasting teams to align O&M cost projections with overall financial planning.
- Collaboration with Asset Management Teams:
- Work closely with asset management teams to understand asset-specific requirements and nuances.
- Provide insights and recommendations on cost-effective O&M strategies for different asset categories.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in O&M cost management processes.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of cost management efficiency.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive reports on O&M cost benchmarking results, highlighting areas for improvement and success stories.
- Maintain accurate documentation of benchmarking methodologies, data sources, and analysis procedures.
- Cost Stewardship:
- Contribute to the development of cost stewardship initiatives, promoting responsible and effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with asset managers to align O&M costs with asset lifecycle planning and investment strategies.
