Description:
EXPERIENCE :
- You have a strong expertise (at least 5 to 7 years of proven experience in Airport Operations & Airside Operations within an airport), with an airline or an operational centre
- Experience in team management
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
- Managing the day-to-day operations of LACC agents and Airside inspectors (e.g. briefings, daily organization)
- Supervising daily operations
- Being able to, and if necessary, ensuring an efficient replacement of his collaborators (inspectors, LACC agents) on their basic tasks
- Prioritizing decisions to be taken (e.g. act, defer, escalate) and take appropriate action
- Being the first point of escalation for both their direct reports, internal staff and third parties for any operational issues
- Having an overview of the cross-functional operations within the airport in order to be able to make appropriate decisions in response to events
- Proposing and initiating changes to procedures and manuals, draft the corresponding instructions and implement them within the department
- Organizing and providing training on procedures and instructions
- Monitoring the correct application of airport regulations and taking appropriate action in case of non-compliance
- Organizing daily coordination meetings with internal and external actors in order to plan and monitor the day’s operations as well as to manage unforeseen events
- Ensuring that the airport emergency plan is activated and that all predefined actions are implemented on time
- Ensuring the implementation and follow-up of a corrective action programme following quality audits as part of the aerodrome certification
- Taking note of incident reports, organizing the appropriate actions and ensure follow-up
- Participating in the integration of new employees
