Description:
JOB TITLE: AIRWORTHINESS / CERTIFICATION ENGINEER
We are seeking skilled certification engineers to join a fantastic team dedicated to ensuring the safety, compliance, and continued airworthiness of aircraft.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with several years of experience in aviation engineering and design, specializing in areas such as aircraft structures, systems integration, or systems design.
- Experience with aviation certification procedures (e.g., EASA Part 21, FAR) and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 748/2012).
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word), with advanced Excel skills preferred. Familiarity with MS Excel VBA and Teamcenter is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are advantageous.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external certification activities for aircraft design and modifications, working with regulatory bodies, third parties, and internal teams.
- Prepare and review certification documentation, including Certification Plans, Compliance Sheets, and STC Applications.
- Manage the type investigation and certification processes with EASA and other aviation authorities.
- Support ongoing airworthiness, including compliance with applicable regulations and managing aircraft safety aspects.
- Act as a liaison between the Office of Airworthiness, Engineering Department, and external stakeholders.
