YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Graduated: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
• Very good knowledge of German (comparable to level B2 – CEFR) and advanced knowledge of English
• Minimum 5 years of experience with IBM PowerSystems + AIX and backup administration
• Knowledge of IBM Power HA SystemMirror (HACMP), IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM)
• Basic knowledge in areas of virtualization, network and SAN (storage area network)
• Willingness to participation in on-call service
• Ensures a prompt processing of customer inquiries and excellent customer service
• Treats others fairly and with respect
• Constructively uses feedback of others
• Overcomes obstacles and never gives in to setbacks
• Brings tasks and projects to an end
• Takes responsibility for his own actions, decisions and resulting consequences

• Administration of the SIG-wide AIX environment for the operation of the SAP system landscape as well as production-critical applications
• Installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and administration of the globally distributed IBM AIX server systems.
• Efficient and high-quality troubleshooting and, if necessary, initiation of longer-term corrective measures.
• Ensuring IT security in the area of AIX Server storage in accordance with ISMS and ISO2700
