Der an der Universität Heidelberg angesiedelte Sonderforschungsbereich 1638 „Umbau zellulärer Membranen: Wie Formveränderungen Funktion erzeugen“ ist ein von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) geförderter interdisziplinärer Forschungsverbund in der ersten Förderperiode.
Im Teilprojekt INF „Research Data Management“ des SFB 1638 ist ab sofort folgende Stelle, zunächst befristet bis zum 30. Juni 2028, zu besetzen:

The new collaborative research centre CRC 1638 “Cellular membrane remodelling – how changing form creates function” at Heidelberg University is an interdisciplinary research centre supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG) in its first funding period.
For the project INF “Research Data Management” in the framework of the CRC 1638 we are looking, as from now initially until 30 June 2028, for a
Scientist in research data management (f/m/d)
full-time or part-time
Your tasks:
- Establishing a comprehensive research data management in the CRC
- Integrating present central resources, for instance eLabFTW, storage, archiving
- Supporting the individual CRC projects in expanding and improving their research data management
- Establishing and training the internal network of data stewards
- Participating in trainings regarding the research data management in the CRC
Your profile:
- You are a graduate and PhD in life sciences, preferably molecular biology, structural biology or bioinformatics
- You have excellent communication and team skills
- You offer good analytical skills and enjoy the structuring of processes
- You have very good language skills in German and English
- Experience in research data management is desirable
- Programming skills are desirable too
