Description:

The Public Investments Platform Technology manages one of the core platforms called BlackRock Aladdin for the purpose of portfolio management, order management, trade execution, and pre-trade compliance system. Working as part of a global team, you will collaborate with vendors, platform and product managers, users and engineers to maximize the platform capabilities and utilization.

What role will you play?
In your role you will be engaging portfolio managers, dealers, risk, research, middle and back-office teams to identify opportunities to optimise investment management workflows through the platform and lead vendor and internal discussions that drive delivery of outcomes. This role will also lead project activities relating to the platform and its products and provide platform support.

What you offer

  • Post-graduate certification or degree in finance, with knowledge in information technology
  • Strong understanding of the buy-side trade lifecycle and financial markets
  • Prior project management experience in investment management is a plus
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills paired with the ability to empathize
  • Prior experience as a system analyst and/or technical business analyst preferred.
