Algorithm Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description: As an Algorithm Specialist at AIQURIS, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the AIQURIS platform through the design and development of algorithms to evaluate and manage the risk of AI systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, senior engineers, and researchers to deliver innovative solutions to manage knowledge and analyse AI systems. Your expertise will drive the understanding of the trustworthiness of AI systems pushing the boundaries of the state-of-the-art and influencing international AI policy development.

• Lead the algorithmic backend of the AIQURIS platform, manage quality and communicate effectively to stakeholders
• Design, implement, and document key algorithms, comprising both semantic and numeric reasoning, to manage the risks of AI systems
• Research, design, and implement algorithms for a wide range of AI applications, including testing of natural language processing, computer vision, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics
• Develop machine learning models and algorithms to extract knowledge from unstructured data, such as text and images
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international policy experts to understand requirements and objectives
• Contribute to IP portfolio in terms of patents and papers
• Provide thought leadership, and represent AIQURIS at relevant conferences and industry events
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in AI and machine learning research, and integrate relevant techniques into our algorithms
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Collaborate with external partners and clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
