JOB DESCRIPTION

U.S. Bank is hiring for a leader for our newest strategic Alliance who will have responsibility for business performance and outcomes and the overall health of the relationship with this partner. The ideal candidate will have great strength in collaboration with proven ability to influence both internal and external partners to deliver results. Experience with managing distribution programs a must, with a proven track record of optimizing channels and marketing opportunities made available through the relationship.

Job Function & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the success of the alliance program with a focus on growing deposit and credit card volume
  • Lead, both directly and indirectly, a dynamic group of professionals focused on product distribution through the partner’s channels (sales team, digital properties and direct to customer marketing)
  • Responsible for business planning, in collaboration with alliance partner and internal partners, and measurement toward stated goals and objectives
  • Cultivate a successful working partnership with a focus on optimizing existing program while expanding where appropriate
  • Cultivate team with focus on development planning and inspirational leadership to drive continuous improvement
  • Work in a collaborative fashion across U.S. Bank including Consumer Bank, Institutional Banking and Payments to identify and support future growth of the new alliance relationship

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Ten or more years of Banking experience
  • Five or more years of leadership experience and/or management of a strategic relationship
